MANOA (KHNL) - The Rainbow baseball team is on a roll and today, they can thank Kolten Wong and his three home runs.

UH wins their 7th straight game, as they sweep Loyola Marymount, 6-5 on Sunday at Les Murakami Stadium.

Wong becomes just the fifth UH player to hit three home runs in a game and the first since Mark McWherter did it in 1988 against BYU.

In fact, Wong is just the second player in school history to hit three home runs in three straight at-bats. Wong ended the game, 3-for-4 with 5 RBI.

In the 8th inning, Wong gave the Rainbows the lead for good, when he smacked a 3-run home run to right center. LMU tacked on two runs to pull within 6-5, but Sam Spangler closed the door on the Lions, as they have now lost 8 straight games.

The Rainbows will now go on the road to play in the Rose City Baseball Invitational in Portland, Oregon from March 20-22. The 'Bows are now 10-6 on the season.
