We expect westerly winds through Tuesday. An approaching front will bring cloudy skies and periods of of showers to the northern part of the state on Super Bowl Sunday. Rainfall is expected to be light during that time. Monday and Tuesday a stronger, faster front is expected to bring us the possibility of heavier showers. Winds will be westerly ahead of this front and switch to northerly behind it. We should get trade wind weather back by Thursday. That should last through next weekend.
WIND ADVISORY for the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa through Sunday.
