Hawaii News Now - KGMB and KHNL HomeWater main leak closes lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard

ALA MOANA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Drivers need to watch out on Ala Moana Boulevard near Atkinson Drive. Board of Water Supply crews have closed all except one lane heading Ewa, to work on a water main leak.
The leak is on a 12-inch water main that dates back to 1934. Workers will need to excavate for the repairs. During that time, the Waikiki Yacht Club will not have water service.
Drivers should proceed with caution. BWS is not yet sure, when repairs will be completed and the lanes reopened.
