Salt Lake bank branch robbed by armed man

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police are searching for an armed man who robbed the American Savings Bank in Salt Lake Tuesday morning. Investigators say that at around 9:10 AM Tuesday a masked man with a handgun entered the branch on Ala Lilikoi Street and demanded cash. The man fled on Salt Lake Boulevard in a four-door compact vehicle.

The man is described as being in his mid-twenties, slim and around 5'7' in height. He has light, shoulder-length hair. He was wearing a blue shirt, khaki pants, white shoes, blue mask and a camouflage baseball cap.
