Who will be the starting quarterback next Saturday? That remains to be seen, according to Rolovich, as he wouldn’t reveal the answer to training camp’s million dollar question.

    Hawaii, UCLA to play in three-game series over next decade

    The Rainbow Warrior football team and the UCLA Bruins announced a three-game series over the next decade, beginning in 2020. In two years time, Hawaii will play host to UCLA at Aloha Stadium for the second time in program history on September 5th. The following year on August 28, 2021, the fixture will take place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. In 2027, the Warriors will once again travel to Los Angeles to take on the Bruins on their home turf.

But more so than his pleasure watching his signal-callers dictate where the ball is thrown, he’s just as excited to see the development of his playmakers.

The first two things you look for in an assistant coach are character and work ethic, and Mike (Brown) is off the charts in both categories," Trapasso said in a statement.

    The Run and Shoot offense that electrified crowds at Aloha Stadium for over a decade is back, and now the Rainbow Warrior football team is bringing back the uniforms that Hawaii fans from all over the state are all too familiar with. This upcoming season, the Warriors are changing their uniforms back to the black, white and green uniforms reminiscent of the Colt Brennan era, the program announced today on its official Twitter account.

    The 2018 Wooden Legacy tournament will be held on November 22-25 as the Rainbow Warrior basketball team will face former WAC rival, Utah in the opening round.     In her NCAA Nationals debut, Rainbow Wahine high jumper Lily Lowe finished 18th during Saturday’s NCAA Outdoor National Championships. Lowe reached the 5-8 mark (1.73m) against the nation’s best high jump field while battling poor weather. On her final jump of the next height at 5-10 (1.78m), Lowe’s heel clipped the bar and knocked her out of contention.

Tomorrow a former Rainbow Warrior is hoping to do his part to help families in the Puna area pick up the pieces. Speed and agility trainer Kenny Patton will hold a fundraiser Sunday morning at Radford High School, with all the money made from the event going directly to victims of the Kilauea eruptions.

The throw, a bit to the outside of Byrd’s numbers on his chest, landed beyond the outstretched fingertips of the junior college transfer wide receiver. Despite the inaccuracy of the pass, it was a pass that Byrd knew he should’ve caught as he jogged back to the huddle to wait for his next rep.

Despite losing two out of the three games over the weekend, morale was not low before Wednesday’s practice, and for good reason.
