

A disturbance to the northwest is bringing bouts of heavy rain and flooding to Kauai and Oahu. Spotty heavy rain is possible through Sunday for the west end of the State. Winds have shifted to the east south east and will linger through part of Sunday before breezy trades fill back in. Showers will be of the hit and miss variety, some neighborhoods will be swamped, while others won't get much at all.
FLASH FLOOD WATCH is on for Kauai until 6am Sunday. Flooding conditions are possible, so if you live in a flood prone area, take precautions now. Check for weather alerts with our smartphone app and track the rain.
A FLASH FLOOD ADVISORY is posted for Kauai until 7pm, for Oahu until 8pm Sunday.
The next country is due this weekend... peaking on Sunday with waves near advisory levels.
