HONOLULU (KHNL) - Businesses will see a lot more aloha in their cash registers.
That's because the Hawaii quarter has finally been released.
Hawaii's banks are distributing the new Hawaii state quarter.
Hundreds of coin collectors waited in lines in downtown Honolulu for a chance to buy $10 rolls of the quarters.
This will be the final coin produced in the United States mint's 50 state quarters program.
On the back, the quarter is graced with an image of King Kamehameha the first, as well as the state motto.
