Shark sighting closes Kee Beach on Kauai

HAENA, Kauai (KHNL) - Kee Beach on Kauai has been closed following a shark sighting Thursday afternoon.

Ocean safety officials say a six to seven foot blacktip shark was spotted in the lagoon.

Signs are posted in the area warning of the shark sighting.

Officials say the beach will be closed until at least Friday morning.
