Six charged with breaking into Iolani Palace

HONOLULU (KHNL) - Six people have been formally charged with breaking into Iolani Palace last week.

Police arrested and charged Grace Akahi, Wayne Nunes, Raynette Nunes, Terry Kaahanui, Tanya Kaahanui and Vanessa Fimbres with burglary in the second degree.

All six have posted $5,000 bail.

Their initial court appearance has been scheduled for September 2.

A seventh person, Donald Alfred Love-Boltz, has been charged with assaulting an employee of the Friends of Iolani Palace.  Love-Boltz was also released on $5,000 bail. 

The Attorney General is investigating the case.
