HONOLULU (KHNL) -- If you can overcome the mental obstacles.
You can overcome the physical ones, and perform what would normally seem impossible.
That's the philosophy of artform known as "Parkour."
Where most of us see railings and walls.
A tracer sees obstacles that need to be conquered.
It's the basis of Parkour.
"Basically, a physical activity where we go from point A to point B as quickly as you can, only using the natural abilities of your body," said Ozzi Quintero.
As you can see.
Point A and point B is never a straight line.
"Yeah, people tell you you're crazy, but maybe you are. Maybe everybody is," said Adam McClellan.
These guys are from Urban Current -- a local Parkour group.
Richard Skowronski is known as Peter Parkour.
"A lot of my friends told me I look like Spider Man and stuff. Jumping off walls, so my friend actually gave me the name, Peter Parkour, play off Peter Parker, Spider Man, and it just kinda stuck."
And like Spidey -- Skowronski likes to do what others see as crazy.
"Lot of roof jumps. People really look at your weird, like, it's a big risk, but it's a big adrenaline rush too."
"Oh, it's a great feeling. It's a feeling of freedom. It's really big feeling of freedom."
And that rush keeps pushing them to push the envelope.
"The constant challenge. The constant progression. You never achieve your goals. Yeah, you put your goals, you set your goals. But once you reach that goal, immediately, there's something else you wanna get."
There are a lot of Parkour videos on-line.
But the group says it takes a lot of conditioning, and practice to do them without getting hurt.
