'Caddy'HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Two men accused of killing a Kahala couple's pet dog for food face up to five years in prison if convicted.
Forty-three-year-old Nelson Domingo and 59-year-old Saturnino Palting were arrested on suspicion of theft and animal cruelty Tuesday, after an Oahu grand jury indicted them. They're accused of stabbing eight-month-old Caddy to death, and then eating the dog.
Frank Manuma says he took his pet with him to Moanalua Golf Club last month, and got permission to leave him by the equipment barn while he played a round of golf.
The suspects were maintenance workers at the course.
