HONOLULU (KHNL) -- 2008 is just around the corner and Sony unveiled some of its latest gadgets hitting stores for the new year.
This year's Sony Expo showcases everything from the smallest high definition television, cameras that can recognize a smile, to a handheld device that provides audio and visual entertainment.
Dozens came out Tuesday morning to check out the latest technology.
Measuring three milimeters, the OLED TV has a one-million to one contrast ratio producing the clearest of images.
Compact digital cameras are always a hot item.
Sony's Cyber Shot cameras automatically snap a picture when a person smiles.
This is the sound entertainment player that fits in the palm of your hand. It integrates motion and light to the beat of music.
"It makes listening to music all the more enjoyable," said Jamie Lum of Sony Hawaii. "And this product we're featuring for the first time in hawaii."
And with the sound entertainment player, you can actually program your own robotic moves to your favorite music files.
Both the sound entertainment player and smile shutter camera cost $350. The OLED Slim TV will set you back $17,000.
All three should be available in Hawaii some time next year.
