Federal Workers Can Donate Portion of Paycheck to Charity

HONOLULU (KHNL) - Aloha Medical Mission has been accepted for the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).  This campaign allows federal workers to donate some of their paychecks to a charity of their choice.

In the past few years, the CFC averaged $5 - 6 million dollars per campaign. These funds were distributed to 1,950 non-profit organizations, with 37% of the funds designated to local organizations in Hawaii .  The amount of money to be allocated to AMM will depend on the federal workers designating AMM as their donor recipient.

The CFC will be conducted during the fall period of this year.  The results will be announced in March 2008 and the checks will be sent in April 2008.
