Evangeline LillyKAILUA (KHNL) - Fire destroyed a house this morning at 684 Iana Street in Kailua. It was reported at 6:55 AM. Neighbors on the scene say that it is the home of Evangeline Lilly, who plays Kate on the ABC drama "Lost".
Neighbors say they heard a loud noise and shouting around 6:40 AM. All three residents of the house got out safely, although there was initially some concern because there was a car in the driveway.
The fire has been contained. The shutdown of Iana street has caused concern for area residents, as it is the only street into the neighborhood and fire officials closed the street off to fight the fire.
