Pearl Harbor 65th Anniversary, A Nation Remembers

(KHNL) - This year survivors of the attack on Pearl Harbor reunite on Oahu to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the event.  This is expected to be the final Hawaii reunion of the survivors with only 8 planning to attend this year.  KHNL News 8 begins extensive coverage of "Pearl Harbor 65th Anniversary, A Nation Remembers" on Sunday Dec. 3, 2006. 

From then and for the next 5 days Hawaii's Live, Local, Latebreaking News Leader will bring viewers stories on, "Why the Japanese Attacked,"  on the photographic record of the attack, a bus tour of attack sites and then on the morning of December 7th complete coverage of the Pearl Harbor 65th anniversary. 

Anchor Marvin Buenconsejo will broadcast live from 5-7am on News 8 Today and then at 7:40am host live KHNL News 8 coverage of "A Nation Remembers."  Live video streaming of this event will also be provided on khnl.com.
