MAPUNAPUNA (HawaiiNewsNow) - There were some tense moments Tuesday morning after a gas leak in Mapunapuna.
Fire officials say, about 17 workers were evacuated from the Coca Cola plant shortly after 12:30 Tuesday morning because of ammonia.
They say, two needed to be treated at the scene for respiratory and eye irritation.
About a dozen workers from a nearby business were also evacuated. Crews got the situation under control by 2:30.
The cause of the leak is not yet known.
