HONOLULU, Oahu (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu Community College is ready for the grand opening of the "Mike Curb MELE Studio." Malika is giving us a sneak peak at the studio and details on how you can sign up for classes.

Local rock/reggae band "Pimp Bot" was nominated for a Hoku this year in the rock album category and have toured in Japan with Anuhea amongst other things. Their drummer Eric is also a MELE instructor and the band is in the process of recording their third album due out later this year. They are laying some tracks in the MELE studios in which students get real world experience doing audio engineering with a professional band.
