HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - They say good things come in small packages. The same can be said for Rainbow Wahine volleyball player Jayme Lee standing at just 5-foot-2.
The senior from Hawaii Baptist Academy has learned how to stand out in a sport dominated by athletes who hover closer to 6-feet tall.
Perhaps what allows her to stick out comes from home. It's not a rarity for Jayme to spend as much time in the kitchen as she does on the court. Her and her roommate Stephanie Brandt are known to get into baking wars in the most delicious way possible.
Most impressive is what Lee is cooking up in the classroom. After graduation, Jayme has her eyes set on med-school with a concentration on becoming a surgeon.
As the only local girl to graduate from the Rainbow Wahine this year, Lee says she'll use the remainder of her time to enjoy the beach and maybe some baking too.
And nothing could be sweeter than that.
