HONOLULU (KHNL) - A long-time mathematics professor, accused of setting fire to his office door at the University of Hawaii-Manoa, made his first court appearance in the case Monday.
David Bleecker, 61, is charged with arson. His bail is set at $15,000.
Police say the June 11th fire was quickly extinguished and no one was hurt.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
