HONOLULU (KHNL) - A bicyclist, who was critically injured in a crash in Hauula over the weekend, has died from his injuries.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office identifies him as Patrick Fernandez, 39.
Investigators say Fernandez was riding his bike on the shoulder of Kamehameha Highway Sunday morning, when he suddenly veered onto the road and into the path of a car.
This is Oahu's 28th traffic fatality of the year, compared to 16 at this time last year.
