HONOLULU (KHNL) - A man accused of gunning down a Honolulu attorney at a home in Kailua is set to appear before an Oahu judge Friday.
Authorities on Thursday charged Daniel Kahanaoi, 45, with murder, burglary, a restraining order violation, and firearms offenses.
Investigators say the suspect went to the victim's house on Oneawa Street to look for his ex-girlfriend, and then shot and killed Craig Kimsel when Kimsel asked him to leave.
Kahanaoi's bail is set at $1 million.
