Lighter winds will takeover Tuesday through Wednesday which will allow the vog plume to move over the smaller islands. For the Big Island, the vog will be more widespread as well, stretching out to north Kona and even over Hilo.
Rainfall over the short term is expected to be sparse, increasing windward showers are due over the weekend as the tradewinds pick up speed..
Surf will be small island wide with no significant swells this week. No marine warnings are currently posted.
