    Rainbow Warriors set program mark with 20th straight win at home

    The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team extended its home win streak to a new program-record 20 matches following a straight-set victory over 14th-ranked CSUN Friday in the first of two Mountain Pacific Sports Federation matches at the Stan Sheriff Center. Set scores were 25-18, 25-23, 26-24.   The teams play again on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Following the match, Kupono Fey, Jennings Franciskovic, Hendrik Mol, and Iain McKellar will be honored.

    The University of Hawaii baseball team won its third straight game Friday night and did so with another big offensive outing.  Behind 14 hits, the Rainbow Warriors scored three runs in the first inning, four in the fourth inning and held off a late San Jose State rally to take game two of the four game series 8-7.     This time last year at the conclusion of spring camp, University of Hawaii football head coach Nick Rolovich was unsure who his starting quarterback would be in his first season at the helm of his alma mater.  What a difference a year makes.
