    Honolulu (HAWAIINEWSNOW) - For the first time in 22-seasons, the Rainbow Wahine volleyball team fell out of the AVCA top 25 poll.The last time the Bows' were unranked came back in 1992, UH finished 15-12 that season and fourth in the Big West conference.Dave Shoji's crew is 6-3 this season, but 0-3 against nationally ranked opponents.Hawaii returns to the teraflex September 19th when they host the first of two matches against Northern Arizona.More >>

    St. Francis School has hired former University of Hawaii pitching coach Chad Konishi and former Maryknoll baseball coach Duane Eldredge to be co-athletic directors at the Manoa campus, according to Sister Joan of Arc Souza, head of school. Konishi is a Punahou and University of California at Berkley graduate who helped 12 different UH pitchers win a total of 15 All-Western Athletic Conference awards.
