HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An 8-inch water main break has been repaired on Wednesday morning ... hopefully for good.
It was a tough job for Board of Water Supply crews, who had to repair the break not once, but twice.
The first break happened on Monday morning on Ahua Street, and crews had finished repairing it by Tuesday morning. But then it broke again as crews were repaving the roadway.
BWS said the break was fixed around 6:50 a.m. Wednesday, and both directions of Ahua Street have been reopened.
