Flash flood watch remains up for Big Island, while rains decrease elsewhere

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Parts of the state are seeing heavy showers as an area of deep moisture moves in.

A flash flood watch remains in effect for the Big Island until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa are under a winter storm warning and a wind advisory, also through 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Forecasters said the summits could get another 1 to 2 inches of snow overnight.
