HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - With all of the Severe Weather of this past weekend, Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Henry Kapono didn’t let that stop the party. He was playing his usual spot and time at Duke’s Waikiki; he posted, “No wind can stop this party....enjoy the show #welcome2myparadise".
“Welcome 2 My Paradise” is also the new CD from Henry Kapono that is out now. It is Henry’s first release in 4 years with 10 original songs. Kapono heads out on tour starting with Kona on Feb 21; Next month with he will be on tour in Oakland, Sacramento and Saratoga, California.
Henry Kapono also posted congratulations to Kalani Pe’a on the win of his second Grammy award in a row saying, “Kalani Pe’a WINS the GRAMMY again!!! Woohooo!!! Congratulations Kalani!!! Henry and Team”. Pe’a was also on the release Henry Kapono & Friends CD “The Songs of C&K”.
Kelly Boy De Lima posted: “Congratulations Kalani Pe’a Allan Cool and Dave Tucciarone on your 2nd Grammy God is Good! B Blessed!”
Should also mention that Dave Tucciarone who was engineer extraodinare on Kalani Pe'a's release; this is his second grammy award as well.
Kalani Pe’a and Allan Cool his manager are headed straight to Maui; it will be the first time he will sleep in his own bed in a month; he has been a three week, 17 concert tour that ended with the Grammys.

The Chapmans have had a busy year so far -- filming a new T-V series, closing their Hawaii bail bond shop -- and welcoming a new great-grandchild. All this while Beth Chapman has been undergoing treatment for lung cancer.
Aquaman 2 is now officially in development! Before James Wan commits to directing a sequel of the blockbuster movie, he’s going to need to get eyes on a script... “The Wrap” reports that script now has a writer in David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who also co-wrote Aquaman. Plus he’s already written for Wan, so the trust and collaboration is already there.
