HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Rainbow Warrior volleyball team continued their winnings ways Saturday afternoon on the road with a sweep over Queens, 25-7, 25-16, 25-10.
Hawaii (8-0) now has the best start to a season under head coach Charlie Wade and still has yet to surrender a set in eight matches.
Brett Rosenmeier and Filip Humler recorded eight kills apiece to lead the offense while Jakob Thelle dished out a season-high 22 assists. Middle blocker Patrick Gasman had another dominant showing at the net in limited action, registering six blocks despite playing just the first set.
The Warriors will now return home to the Stan Sheriff Center to host Lincoln Memorial on Friday, February 15th. First serve is set for 5:00 p.m. HT.
