HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Michael Eletise is coming home.
The former Kaiser High School star offensive lineman announced his decision to transfer from the University of Arizona to attend the University of Hawaii.
Eletise, a junior, was Hawaii’s most highly-recruited high school football prospect, receiving 42 scholarship offers from across the country.
He played in four games this past season for the Wildcats and was expected to challenge for a full-time starting role of Arizona’s offensive line next season.
As an undergrad, Eletise will likely have to sit next season due to NCAA transfer rules before he’s able to suit up for the Warriors.
