HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -The Nanakuli Boys and Girls Club is asking for help after a recent act of vandalism.

The club’s site director says on Jan. 23, thieves took two tires off one of their vans and they tried to take a third, but failed.

The suspects also tired to pry open the gas tank and siphon gas.

In all, the damage was estimated at more than $6,000.

The club is turning to the public to help raise funds to offset repair costs. A GoFundMe page has been set up.

Surveillance cameras captured two suspected during the crime, but they were unable to be identified.
