Federal workers granted reprieve from out-of-pocket payments at several Hawaii hospitals

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Queen’s Health Systems has granted federal workers a 30-day deferral of any out-of-pocket payments amid the ongoing government shutdown.

The deferral was effective Wednesday.

Patients must verify that they are employed by the federal government.

The deferral applies to out-of-pocket payments at The Queen’s Medical Center at Punchbowl and West Oahu, Molokai General Hospital and North Hawaii Community Hospital.
