HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Day 1 of the 2019 Sony Open saw a little bit of everything.
From near-perfect outings from Canada’s Adam Svensson to history being made with Hawaii’s own Peter Jung becoming the youngest player to qualify and play in a PGA Tour event in 50 years.
While the golf from Thursday’s opening round is sure to leave fans buzzing, Day 2 of the tournament is expected to deliver as well with the field of competition getting cut down heading into Saturday’s third round.
