HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Rainbow Warrior volleyball team completed back-to-back sweeps over British Columbia Saturday night at the Stan Sheriff Center, winning in straight sets (25-21, 25-18, 25-17.)

Hawaii was led by outside hitter Stijn van Tilburg’s nine kills while Rado Parapunov tallied eight kills and three service aces.

As a team, the ‘Bows hit just .167 for the match but was able to rack up 11 blocks and eight aces to even things out.

The Warriors will stay in Honolulu for the Hawaiian Airlines Rainbow Warrior Classic, Jan. 10-12 featuring Concordia-Irvine, NJIT and USC.
