Pono Pledge encourages visitors to be mindful

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A new Big Island campaign seeks to encourage visitors to have a “sense of place” and respect the place they are visiting.

The Island of Hawaii Visitors Bureau and Hawaii County have partnered to create the Pono Pledge.

It’s a campaign to encourage safe, responsible, and respectful behavior while visitors are on the island.
